My name is Kelsee Parry, founder and board member of the non-profit organization Everybody Plays which exists to give at-risk, low-income student athletes the opportunity to play competitive youth soccer in the State of Utah.

Youth soccer is becoming increasingly expensive. A recent article by Girls Soccer Network put the average yearly cost at $1,472 per child but when they started to look into elite clubs the cost went up to almost $10,000 and that didn’t include travel costs. The structure of youth soccer is excluding an entire class of talent (https://girlssoccernetwork.com/lifestyle/club-soccer-america-costs-pay-to-play/)

In 2020, our organization provided $20,000 in funded scholarships to seven student athletes in order to soften the financial burden on both the athlete and their families.

Of the athletes who received financial aid from Everybody Plays, three of them went to the Utah State Cup Champions, two athletes advanced to the semi-final round of Utah State Cup, one was on the winning team of the Presidents’ Cup in Mesquite, and two more have been offered future scholarships for the Air Force Academy.

We are reaching out in hopes that you might consider making a donation to the Everybody Plays non-profit organization as it is our goal to continue to distribute scholarship aid to deserving youth who qualify for assistance through their proven efforts in their individual academics, their talent on the field, and through their community service volunteer work as well.

We hope to not only give young athletes an opportunity to excel in their talents, but also to look forward to a better future.

Donations are accepted through Venmo, PayPal on our website listed below, or by check.  As always, we are happy to provide a receipt for your tax purposes.

On behalf of Everybody Plays, I thank you for your time and support.

Respectfully,

Kelsee Parry
